A Fate Inked in Blood — Danielle L. Jensen

Freya dreams of becoming a warrior, not spending her life trapped in an unwanted marriage.

When she’s betrayed to the region’s jarl and forced into a fight to the death, Freya has no choice but to reveal the secret she’s been hiding, she carries a drop of a goddess’s blood, giving her magic capable of repelling any attack.

Her power is believed to be the key to uniting the fractured nation of Skaland, and the jarl binds her with a blood oath before ordering his fierce son, Bjorn, to train and protect her.

Unfortunately, resisting Bjorn may prove harder than surviving the gods’ tests.
